It can be passed on at Rebel events or local rebellion meetups. Each memeber who receives it should add their own page to the scrapbook. At the end of the month, the person who has the scrapbook should share pictures of all that months pages. Please also record the scrapbook changeovers -e.g. mailing it, or passing the book between you. Please start with Rebels in the US and Canada, before the scrapbook is passed aronud the UK. If you have patrol members in Asia or Australasia, I would suggest sending it there in November after the final IRL meet up so it ends there. | Unknown |
Athletes
For this challenge I knew I wanted to created a pair of alternative wings for my combat boots!
All that came to mind was pleather and zip-ties... I sketched out a design, and then got to work. I cut out the wings from the pleather, and then used the zip-ties to create boning to give the wings some structure. After an hour on the sewing machine, I had a pair of wings! Next came eyelets...
I grabbed the hammer and eyelets, and got to work. I had to make sure the eyelets were in the right place, and that they were secure enough to hold the wings in place. After hammering really loudly, I had a pair of wings that were ready to be attached to my combat boots! I took them out for an adventure with my local rebellion!
Luck
I researched different good luck charms from around the world and I knew the moment I saw the toadstool I knew I had to create a 3D effect card! With my friend and local rebellion member going in to hospital for surgery that was the kick I needed to get creative and make a card for her!
Merchants
I played Catan with my local rebellion, and it was so much fun! I love board games, and Catan is one of my favourites. It was great to play it with other rebels, and we had a lot of fun trading resources and building our settlements. I can't wait to play it again!
Ps - I won!
Thieves
Unfortunately, I didn't get time to complete this challenge. I would have loved to have done a version of the heist from Gangster Granny!
Messengers
Rosa have gotten straight onto this challenge! We have created a virtual map with locations of where all the rebels live so we can create a plan of where the scrapbook can go next.
